Medication Therapy Management

These sessions will include a comprehensive review of your prescription and non- prescription medications. We will discuss medication side effects, possible drug interactions, and any other issues you may be having with your therapies. Our pharmacist will review how effective your therapies have been and what your health goals are. We will identify any medications that may contribute to micronutrient deficiencies or that can contribute to dysbiosis over time (the imbalance of beneficial bacteria in your gut). We will assist you in communicating any concerns to your physician so that your physician can work with you to identify any gaps in your current therapies. We will identify ways to optimize your therapies and suggest important conversations you should have with your doctor. Medication therapy management consultations are limited to Virginia and Maryland residents.
